10 Things I Saw Today

Daily Rituals

As a college student, my daily rituals don't include that much stuff.  I wake up everyday around the same time, since all my classes begin the same time during the week, and begin to get ready for my day.  I turn on the shower, while the water gets hot, I brush my teeth and wash my face.  I then proceed to get in the shower. When I get out I put moisturizer on my face. I then go to class and come home. I usually watch T.V. and then go to visit my friends on campus. Since Im a night owl, around 9 or 1o I usually start my homework and do it until about 12 or 1. I then put on either music or a movie and go to bed. Only to do it all over again the next day!!!!

Two Realms

I think that Scott McCloud's interpretation of the two realms is a cognitive way of looking at the situation.  Though I never thought about the concept much, after reading this I do feel that there are two realm that at times may cross between each other.  However, though they may cross, I do also feel that people will tend to expose themselves to one or another more thus leaning toward being either more physical or sensual. I also feel as if one uses more of the creative side of the brain while one uses a intellectual or thinking part of the brain.

Creative DNA

1.  My first creative act was a movie script that I wrote in about the 3rd grade.  I love to watch movies and so one day my dad was like just write a script and then Ill buy you a camera and you can record it.  I worked on the scripts for weeks. I really wanted to make the movie.

2. I admire singing/recording artists that are actually able to sing, dance, and perform.  It seems as if so many people now in the industry are there on pure looks and not talent.  That being so, I am very intent on giving recognition to those in the industry that are using their natural talent.

3. A muse is someone or something that inspires you to do your best work or be the best person you can be at the time.

4. I would say that my whole family is my muse.  However, my play little sisters and brothers(since I am an only child) and my grandpa inspire me the most.  When I think of these people I know that they are either looking down on me from heaven expecting me to do my best work or looking at me as a role model.

5.  Honestly, my biggest dream is to become a well respected, rich, entertainment attorney.  However, I feel like this dream can not be accomplished without my family being right by my side.  I want to have a family of my own but I also hope that I am not the only successful person around me.  For instance, my little sister wants to be a recording artist, my close friend wants to be a publicist, and another friend wants to be in the NFL.  I hope that all of us can accomplish these goals so that in the future can we not only work together but we can party and live a "good" life together.

REFLECTIONS ON "I WALK INTO A WHITE ROOM"

I Am a big procrastinator. I decided that this year I would try to do things early but I'm always so busy, or making myself busy I should say, I end up waiting.  I will do pretty much anything to procrastinate.  I am the type of person who likes to be doing something at all times so if there is something that I need to do that I don't want to do, I will find something else to do instead.

I am a predictable person but at the same time I do not really have a set routine.  However, on the regular daily basis, I will wake up, get in the shower, brush my teeth, do my hair, and then begin my day whether it is going to class or going out to the mall or the movie theater

I think that everyone has a touch of god talent in some way.  I believe god blessed everyone with something that they are better at then other things.  While there are some people who may to have more or less talents it could depend on the cultivation that person put into their god given talent.  In addition, the people that think  that they don't have a talent just might not have found it yet.  Once that talent is found, the person usually finds that they not only like to that thing but they also are good at it, which assists in making it the "touch of god" talent.
